There has been a tragedy that has forced the change in the location for our ride. Mike Martin, owner of Granville Museum and the ranch in Descanso has passed away. His property is where the Vaquero Days and ACTHA event were to occur. We have changed the location to Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve just off of the Mercy Road exit from the 15 south freeway.

This beautiful canyon offers cool shade and several water crossings. There will be the option to stay overnight, plus you can tour the old historic adobe rancho. The date will remain the same and it still promises to be a great time. I hope that you will still consider joining us. We haven’t made all the changes yet on the website but will be doing that as soon as possible.

Joe Solazzo will be at the ride to take everyone`s pictures on trail. You can purchase pictures two weeks after event by contacting Joe.
Ride Information:
Entries limited to first 100. Ribbons for 1st - 6th place Open/Pleasure/Junior divisions. See the FAQ page for questions regarding the divisions.
Fees payable online:
• CTC entry fee - $58 pleasure/$58 open/$25 junior/$40 Adult buddy
• New membership fee - $35 individual; $50 family of 2; $85 family of 4; additional horse - $10 ea.; additional rider - $10 ea.
Fees collected at check-in ( ie. meals, electrical hook ups and stall fees):
Breakfast - $ 5
Lunch - $ 10
Electrical Hook Up: $ _NA_ per day
Stalls: $ _NA_ per horse/night - tie to trailer

Interstate 15 to Mercy Rd exit. Follow to the bottom and turn right on to Black Mountain Rd - turn into the left lane when safe to do so. Turn left into Los Penasquitos Preserve and follow signs to camp and parking.
