OUR COMMITMENT TO HORSES

The American Competitive Trail Horse Association (ACTHA) has a simple mission based on the fundamental belief that a horse with a job is a horse with a home, security and a future. The association is the largest holder of equine events in USA, and growing in Canada. Every rider entry helps support a horse rescue or other equine non-profit, as designated by each individual Ride Host.

Our members consist of hosts, volunteers, competitors and donors who form a powerful force in addressing the unwanted horse crisis. Every member, whether they intend to ride or not, contributes tremendously to the cause.

Non-riding member contributions are used to support the ongoing operations and mission of ACTHA which include, but are not limited to, promoting the benefits of trail horses and trail riding events, supporting the activities of ACTHA Ride Hosts, and donating to horse rescue and rehabilitation organizations to help ease the suffering of our equine friends.
