Texas Horse Park
joins
"Ride For The Rescues" June 13, 2010!
All ride proceeds will go directly to rescues and equine charities across the US
The Texas Horse Park and our partner, the City of Dallas, are pleased to offer riders in our community a “Sneak Peek” at the future home of the Texas Horse Park as part of the "Ride for the Rescues" fundraiser for equine rescue. All proceeds from the ride will directly benefit equine rescues and charities.
The beautiful Trinity River Audubon Center will be our horse & rider halfway point watering station and rest stop.
Join us on 600 beautiful acres of prairie grasslands and hardwood forest 8 minutes south of downtown Dallas as we Ride for the Rescues, set a world record and offer a sneak peek at the future home of the Texas Horse Park. When completed, the park will be a nationally recognized equestrian facility which will include a competition center, a therapeutic riding facility, riding trails, a community outreach center and campgrounds.
Not only will the ride raise much-needed funds for equine charities, it’s also an attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the largest peacetime trail ride in history as The Texas Horse Park joins 61 additional ACTHA rides across the USA that day!
