Ride Information:

Camp Pendleton Marine Base, Oceanside

Camp Pendleton is located between San Clemente and Oceanside. It is bordered by Oceanside & Fallbrook. Parking will be at the rodeo grounds located across the road from the base stables. There are hills and may be some small water crossings depending on rain.

Once the ride begins you and your horse will be traveling through a tunnel to access the trails on the East side of Vanderfrift. Some riders walk through and some ride, whichever you are most comfortable with.

The trails are great and Oceanside is generally cooler as it`s close to the ocean.

FYI, THERE WILL BE A PAINT BALL TOURNAMENT GOING ON JUST ADJACENT TO THE RODEO GROUNDS SO BE PREPARED FOR SOME POPPING SOUNDS.

Entries limited to first 100. Great prizes for 1st - 6th place Open/Pleasure/Junior divisions. There will be no cash prizes for this special event as it`s a fundraiser for horse rescue. Classes; Open Pleasure, Junior, and Buddy Divisions. See the FAQ page for questions regarding the divisions.

We will have prizes for Best Dressed Male and Female and Best Groomed Horse, so wear your favorite garbs and scrub your mounts.

Don`t forget to ask your friends to come along, we would love to fill this ride. You can have Buddy Riders as well, they just won`t get to participate in the obstacles.

SEE YOU THERE!

[ A $5.00 Fee will be collected at registration on the day of the ride per
