World Record Attempt - "Ride for the Rescues!" June 13, 2010

Howdy Folks,

By golly how many times do you get to be part of a big deal? I mean a really big, wonderful deal. Not too often, I reckon! Well hot dang here`s your chance! In keeping with ACTHA`s mission to raise much needed funds for Horse Rescues and Charities, thousands of riders all across the USA will be steppin` into their stirrups on the same exact day to ride in ACTHA sanctioned Competitive Trail Challenges.

Never before has such a group of top-shelf and generous sponsors, organizations and riders come together for such worthwhile cause. Sadly never before has there been so great a need. We at ACTHA know how much the noble horse means to each of you – How much the gallant horse has given to shape the world! Let`s rally together and offer a token of thanks!

You are herewith invited to help set the Guinness®World Record for The Largest Trail Riding Competition! Not just for fun – even though you can count on it bein` a heap of fun – but for all the good it`ll do, too! Round up your family, friends and horse and sign on for this World Record Ride. Hosted by HorseBreakers Unlimited - Theresa Friedman- is the clinician. Open to everyone and a wonderful chance to get some hands on experience with different types of obstacles. $25.00 Payable the day of the clinic. Please make reservataions with HorseBreakers Unlimited at 928-632-5728.

Arrival: Saturday anytime or before 8:30 Sunday morning

Rider`s briefing: 8:30am

Ride out: 9:30am - 11:00am

Trail will take about 2 - 2 ½ hours, 6-7 miles with 6 obstacles. We rate the trails as easy to moderate but 3/4 of the trail is rocky. We strongly recommend that your horse be shod.

Connession by Hoopi`s BarBQue Catering for dinner Saturday nite, breakfast Sunday morning and lunch following the ride.

• CTC entry fee - $58 pleasure/$58 open/$43 junior/$40 Adult buddy/$35 junior buddy
• New membership fee - $25 individual; $40 family of 2; $75 family of 4; additional horse - $10 ea.; additional rider - $10 ea.

Fees collected at check-in: stall fees and clinic fees.

Electrical Hook Up: not available

Plenty of overnite parking & dry camping available NO CHARGE

Stalls: $12.00 per horse/night- bring your own feed.
