The Marina Equestrian Center, easily accessible from Hwys 1 and 101, provides a gateway to the former Fort Ord military base, home some of the last undeveloped, natural, public lands on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula. The BLM manages and protects 35 species of rare plants and animals, as well as maintains more than 50 miles of public trails. Most of the trails are soft, sandy, gently rolling, and picturesque. The Equestrian Center has access for trailer parking and overnight camping (with advance registration).

Howdy Folks,

By golly how many times do you get to be part of a big deal? I mean a really big, wonderful deal. Not too often, I reckon! Well hot dang here`s your chance! In keeping with ACTHA`s mission to raise much needed funds for Horse Rescues and Charities, thousands of riders all across the USA will be steppin` into their stirrups on the same exact day to ride in ACTHA sanctioned Competitive Trail Challenges.

Never before has such a group of top-shelf and generous sponsors, organizations and riders come together for such worthwhile cause. Sadly never before has there been so great a need. We at ACTHA know how much the noble horse means to each of you – How much the gallant horse has given to shape the world! Let`s rally together and offer a token of thanks!

You are herewith invited to help set the Guinness®World Record for The Largest Trail Riding Competition! Not just for fun – even though you can count on it bein` a heap of fun – but for all the good it`ll do, too! Round up your family, friends and horse and sign on for this World Record Ride. Entries limited to first 100. Great prizes for 1st - 6th place Open/Pleasure/Junior divisions. Voluntary $20 jackpot for open division at check-in.
