Set in the beautiful Appalachian mountains of eastern Kentucky, the Bert T. Combs Park & Equestrian Trail offers the area’s best horseback riding and camping ammenities.
Absolutely stunning and exciting ride! Rock bluffs, creeks, springs, mountain vista`s, varied terrain
As you ride along selected miles of trails in the Bert T. Combs Park, Daniel Boone National Forest and Beech Creek Wildlife Management Area, you will experience nature at its best. The Equestrian Trail offers breathtaking views, wildlife and several picnic areas with amenities for both you and your horses. There are picnic tables and trash receptacles for you and hitching posts and natural springs to water your horses. Plus the exciting TOP SECRET Obstacles of the World Record Ride to test you and your horse!
Overnight Accommodations include: RV Sites and Tent camping areas, new shower house, dump station, etc... all for very reasonable rates. (Details on booking coming soon)
The fun and amenities of the park will include corn hole, swimming at the beautiful cool pool, 2 playgrounds, fenced bike track for the kiddo`s, food, campfire, cowboy church Sun a.m., music, friends and LOTS & LOTS of FUN! Entire campground will be reserved for this CTC.

Surrounded by the Beech Creek Wildlife Management Area and the Daniel Boone National Forest, the Equestrian Trail provides easy access to the 25 acre Bert T. Combs Lake. The lake offers some of the areas best fishing and is stocked annually with Rainbow Trout and Catfish. Bert T. Combs Lake also gives anglers great opportunity to fish for Bass and several different varieties of pan fish

Howdy Folks,
By golly how many times do you get to be part of a big deal? I mean a really big, wonderful deal. Not too often, I reckon! Well hot dang here`s your chance! In keeping with ACTHA`s mission to raise much needed funds for Horse Rescues and Charities, thousands of riders all across the USA will be steppin` into their stirrups on the same exact day to ride in ACTHA sanctioned Competitive Trail Challenges.
Never before has such a group of top-shelf and generous sponsors, organizations and riders come together for such worthwhile cause. Sadly never before has there been so great a need. We at ACTHA know how much the noble horse means to each of you – How much the gallant horse has given to shape the world! Let`s rally together and offer a token of thanks!
You are herewith invited to help set the Guinness®World Record for The Largest Trail Riding Competition! Not just for fun – even though you can count on it bein` a heap of fun – but for all the good it`ll do, too! Round up your family, friends and horse and sign on for this World Record Ride. World renowned photographer will be at the ride to take everyone`s pictures on trail. You can look at proofs and order pictures at ride.
- Entries limited to first 100.
- Great prizes for 1st - 6th place Open/Pleasure/Junior divisions.
- Voluntary $20 jackpot for open division at check-in. _________________________________________________
- Open, pleasure, junior, and buddy divisions available to ride. (Buddies get to enjoy the ride but do not compete at obstacles)

Fees payable online:
- CTC entry fee - $58 pleasure/$58 open/$43 junior/$40 Adult buddy/$35 junior buddy
- New membership fee - $25 individual; $40 family of 2; $75 family of 4; additional horse - $10 ea.; additional rider - $10 ea.
Please remember ALL profits from the CTC fees for this ride will be going to horse rescue facilities.
