Son Country Farm is nestled just outside of Sterrett, AL with rollings hills, pines and creeks. This is truly a special place and you`ll enjoy every minute you spend there. They are even planning a little cowpoke fun day for the kids while you`re out on the trails! This will be a wonderful family weekend. Come on in Saturday ,but the BBQ dinner and dance HAS BEEN CANCELED. Then Sunday, enjoy breakfast and head out on the the trail to challenge yourself and your horse on 6 fun obstacles. Head back to the farm after the ride for hamburgers and hotdogs. This is going to be a GREAT weekend! Open trails, easy to challenging. Don`t miss this opportuntiy to make history, do something good for the unwanted horse and have fun!

Howdy Folks,
By golly how many times do you get to be part of a big deal? I mean a really big, wonderful deal. Not too often, I reckon! Well hot dang here`s your chance! In keeping with ACTHA`s mission to raise much needed funds for Horse Rescues and Charities, thousands of riders all across the USA will be steppin` into their stirrups on the same exact day to ride in ACTHA sanctioned Competitive Trail Challenges.
Never before has such a group of top-shelf and generous sponsors, organizations and riders come together for such worthwhile cause. Sadly never before has there been so great a need. We at ACTHA know how much the noble horse means to each of you – How much the gallant horse has given to shape the world! Let`s rally together and offer a token of thanks!
You are herewith invited to help set the Guinness®World Record for The Largest Trail Riding Competition! Not just for fun – even though you can count on it bein` a heap of fun – but for all the good it`ll do, too! Round up your family, friends and horse and sign on for this World Record Ride. If we break the record, you`ll not only have done your part to help raise thousands of dollars for deserving horses - All proceeds from this event go directly to Equine Charities - And you will be part of a Guinness World Record! Fees payable online:
- CTC entry fee - $58 pleasure/$58 open/$43 junior/$40 Adult buddy/$35 junior buddy
- New membership fee - $25 individual; $40 family of 2; $75 family of 4; additional horse - $10 ea.; additional rider - $10 ea.

DIRECTIONS TO OUR RIDE;
From I20 take Exit #156 Eden/Odenville. Turn at the bottom of ramp left if traveling west or right if traveling east. In 1.3 miles turn right onto County Road 27 (Wolf Creek Road South).
It is 10.3 miles to the Shelby County line. In 1.3 miles turn left onto County Road 55. A total of 11.6 miles from turn. Son Country Farm is immediately on the left.
From Highway 280, turn onto County Road 43. Travel approximately 12 miles. At the stop sign, go straight across Highway 25. Travel 3.5 miles to County Road 55 and turn right. Son Country Farm is immediately on the left.
