Howdy Folks,

By golly how many times do you get to be part of a big deal? I mean a really big, wonderful deal. Not too often, I reckon! Well hot dang here`s your chance! In keeping with ACTHA`s mission to raise much needed funds for Horse Rescues and Charities, thousands of riders all across the USA will be steppin` into their stirrups on the same exact day to ride in ACTHA sanctioned Competitive Trail Challenges.

Never before has such a group of top-shelf and generous sponsors, organizations and riders come together for such worthwhile cause. Sadly never before has there been so great a need. We at ACTHA know how much the noble horse means to each of you – How much the gallant horse has given to shape the world! Let`s rally together and offer a token of thanks!

You are herewith invited to help set the Guinness®World Record for The Largest Trail Riding Competition! Not just for fun – even though you can count on it bein` a heap of fun – but for all the good it`ll do, too! Round up your family, friends and horse and sign on for this World Record Ride. If we break the record, you`ll not only have done your part to help raise thousands of dollars for deserving horses - All proceeds from this event go directly to Equine Charities - And you will be part of a Guinness World Record! Check-in Sat evening or Sunday morning before 8:30

Rider`s briefing: 9:00am

Ride out: 10:00am - 11:00am

Trail will take about 2 - 2 ½ hours, 6-7 miles

• Entries limited to first 100.
• Great prizes for 1st - 6th place Open/Pleasure/Junior divisions. Voluntary $20 jackpot for open division at check-in. Payout will be __dependent upon the number of riders signed up for jackpot._Also Natural Horse Trails will be donating Mecate` reins , hand tied rope halters , and lead lines for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place Open/Pleasure/Junior divisions. There will also be a drawing from every name entered regardless of division for a 3 day 2 night vacation for 2 with horses to Ashville, North Carolina; where there is RV, stables, and 500 miles of scenic riding trails in the Great Smokey Mountains Nat`l Park. ______________________________________________

Fees payable online:

• CTC entry fee - $58 pleasure/$58 open/$43 junior/$40 Adult buddy/$35 junior buddy
• New membership fee - $25 individual; $40 family of 2; $75 family of 4; additional horse - $10 ea.; additional rider - $10 ea.

Fees collected at check-in: meals, electrical hook ups and stall fees

Lunch - $ 8.00___

Electrical Hook Up: $_15___ per day

Stalls: $_8___ per horse/night

Paddocks-uncovered $ 5 per horse/night

Day ride fee: $ 5 per horse/day

Additional contests will be:

Best Dog ($5 at check-in)

Best dressed male/female

Best groomed horse

DIRECTIONS TO OUR RIDE:

From I-10 exit @ any Milton exit proceed North to Hwy 90 @ Hwy 87 (Burger King) turn North go approx. 2 miles to Milton High School. Directly across is Hwy 191 (Munson Hwy.) turn east and travel approx. 14 miles to Coldwater Recreation Area sign @ Buddy Hardy Rd. turn left. Proceed along paved road for 5.5 miles to the stables.

From I-65 travel to Atmore exit to Flomaton south to Century @ Hwy 4 turn east. Proceed to Jay, FL going through Jay stay on Hwy 4 going east travel 2 miles past caution light @ Berrydale intersection with Hwy 87 to Gordon Land Rd. turn right @ Coldwater Recreation Area sign. Proceed along this road for 4.5 miles to the stables. OR I-65 to Brewton south toward Milton and @ Berrydale caution light turn left 2 miles to Gordon Land Rd. turn right and proceed 4.5 miles to the stables.

Registration for this ride will close 06/11/2010 (2 days before the ride date).
