The eastern slope of the Sangre De Cristo mountain range is inexplicably georgous!! This portion of the range sports over 30 peaks at or above 13,500 ft. and from our campsite we can see 3 peaks that top 14,000 ft. We`ll camp and 8400 ft elevation on the shores of Grape Creek. Our entire trail will be visible from the ranch house. Our ranch owner Elin makes fabulous meals of natural grass fed beef -- a real gourmet treat.

Check-in Thursday evening or Friday morning before 8:30

Breakfast: 8:00am

Rider`s briefing: 9:00am

Ride out: 10:00am - 11:00am

Trail will take about 2 - 2 ½ hours, 6-7 miles

* New membership fee - $25 individual; $40 family of 2; $75 family of 4; additional horse - $10 ea.; additional rider - $10 ea.

Fees collected at check-in: camping fee and food combined

DIRECTIONS TO OUR RIDE:

From North: I-25 to Pueblo, Colorado. At Exit 101 go West on Hwy 50 for 62.3 miles. At Texas Creek, turn South on Hwy 69 go 25 miles to Westcliffe. Turn East on Hwy 96 go 3 blocks turn South (Rt) on Hwy 69 continue 4 miles. At the bend in the road SLOW DOWN. Turn South (Rt) on Colfax Lane. Signs say “Music Pass”. Continue 5.5 miles, at CR 120 turn left (remains CR 119) and follow signs to Basecamp.

From South: I-25 to Walsenburg, Colorado. At Exit 52 go West on Hwy 69 for about 54 miles. At mile marker 52 look for CR 130 on your left. Turn West (Lt) for 1.5 miles. Turn South (Lt) on Colfax Lane. Signs say “Music Pass”. Continue 4.5 miles, at CR 120 turn left (remains CR 119) and follow signs to Basecamp.

From West: Take Hwy 50 East in Grand Junction, Colorado. At Salida, Colorado procede 38 miles further to Texas, Creek. Follow remainder of directions from North above.

Registration for this ride will close _when filled or _(2 days before the ride date).

If heavy rain/snow expected, rain date will be __Monday, June 14th_________, otherwise come prepared for some light rain/snow and bring your slicker/jacket!
