World Renowned Trail Ride Critic Dutch Henry`s Ride Proclamation for-

Flying Bee Ranch CTC - Bayard, NE - 7-25-2010

Howdy Folks,

Louise and Conrad Kinnaman and the crew at Flying Bee Ranch are invitin` everybody to a high time of ridin`, visitin`, and a little challenge in the saddle! Anybody who`s ever been to the Flying Bee knows about their world class hospitality, stunning views and history of the area. Now they`re bringin` in something new and fun! Yes sir, they`re hostin` the first American Competitive Trail Horse Association ride in these parts, and by golly you`ll want to be a part of it. This is a casual competition perfect for all levels of riders! If you trail ride…You can compete!

Come set up camp anytime Saturday. They have everything you need from full hook-ups to primitive camping, and explore the ranch on your own. Then settle around the fire pit for a get-to-know-ya campfire and visit all night with friends old and new while roastin` a few marshmallows. If you have a guitar or fiddle bring it and make a little music.

Sunday starts with breakfast at 7:30a.m.– Ride briefing at 8:00 – Ride out at 9:00. The trail they`ve laid out for the CTC showcases some of the finest views of Flying Bee Ranch. You`ll ride along deep cedar lined ravines, over rolling prairie, and along the base of pine dotted bluffs within site of Chimney Rock. Keep a watch for the Golden Eagle nest, and the big horn sheep! You might wanna wear your finest ridin` duds because they`ve got Jim-dandy prizes for the Best Dressed Gal and Guy and Best Groomed Horse, too. Be sure to smile for the shutter snapper on the trail, you can buy those Tin-Types back at camp.

After the ride, tend your horse then grab your eatin irons and head for the chow line to restock your calories while the Judges tally the score sheets and hand out all those ACTHA Bucks, prizes and awards. Louise told me they`ve got a pile of special hand made prizes! Speakin` of special prizes - The first 15 riders to sign on will be entered in a drawing to win a free camping weekend at Flying Bee Ranch including two horse stalls!

Folks, the Flying Bee Ranch is a family owned 3,300 acre working cattle ranch and the perfect place to spend some quality time with your family, friends and horse. Check their website www.flyingbee-ranch.com and make plans to have a great weekend in July!

The Flying Bee Ranch, featured on Best of America by Horseback, is located near historic Chimney Rock in the Wildcat Hills 4 ½ miles south and 1 mile east of McGrew, Nebraska. Our scenic 3300 acre working cattle ranch has varied terrain from rolling short grass prairie to steep pine-dotted bluffs with panoramic views of the North Platte Valley.

We offer 18 outdoor pipe stalls with an exercise pen nearby, 2 indoor box stalls with runs and 6 other indoor stalls. Our campground has eleven 20 and 30 amp hookups with water and an outhouse. We also have lots of room for those wanting to camp with no hookup and use panels for their horses. Nearby is a cabin which sleeps 5-6 people with full bath and kitchenette, and two guest rooms at the ranch house with queen beds in each and a shared bath.
