World Renowned Trail Ride Critic Dutch Henry`s Ride Proclamation for-

Rafter Z Ranch CTC - Summerville OR - 7-17-2010

Howdy Folks,

Lynn Omohundro and the Rafter Z outfit are inviting everybody to come ride the beautiful trails in their northwest corner of the Grande Ronde Valley – And have a go at an American Competitive Trail Horse Association trail challenge. Bring your friends and family and stay one day, or all weekend! If you`ve never been to a Competitive Trail Challenge (CTC), this is a perfect place to start. This is a casual competition perfect for all levels of riders! If you trail ride…You can compete!

Come set up `Cowboy Camp` in the pasture Friday evening and gather with friends old and new while Lynn picks his guitar and leads everybody in a song or three. If you have a guitar, banjo or fiddle please bring it and play along.

Roberta, Juanita and Linda will be servin` breakfast Saturday at 8a.m. Ride briefing at 9:00 – Ride out at 10:00. Rafter Z Ranch has about 50 miles of trails and Lynn has mapped out six miles that`ll show some of its best views and have the most shade, and he`s mixed in six of those ACTHA obstacles. Smile for the photographer as you ride along, and give the judges a kind word or two. After the ride enjoy more home cookin` and visit while the judges tally the score sheets and hand out all the prizes and awards. This shindig ain`t over after the awards by golly, there are plans for more music after supper! And you`re welcome to stay on and explore more trails on Sunday on your own.

Lynn is the current trail champion at the national level in the United States and Canada and trains Peruvian horses for trail and show and he`d like to toss out a special invite to all you folks who trail ride gaited horses. In fact he has a very special prize for the high point gaited horse in each division!

Speakin` of prizes, the first 15 horse and rider teams to register will be entered into a drawing to win a free lesson with Lynn on helping your horse navigate trail obstacles. By golly that might come in handy next time around!

Call Lynn at 541-805-9978 for all the finer details of this event.

Gitty Up!

Dutch Henry
