World Renowned Trail Ride Critic Dutch Henry`s Ride Proclamation for-

A Touch of Class CTC - Lily Glen - Medford OR - 6-27-2010

Howdy Folks,

Kristy Artman and the volunteers from Jackson County 4-H Horse Club – `A Touch of Class`, are puttin` on a shindig at the beautiful Lily Glen Equestrian Park, that`s got a pile of ridin`, eatin`, judgin`, and winnin`! Yes sir, they`re bringin` the American Competitive Trail Horse Association to your back yard! And everybody`s invited to come have a high old time! ACTHA and 4-H are comin` together for the kids and the horses!

Set up camp Saturday afternoon and join in the fun of a pre-ride obstacle course contest in the arena. Three obstacles – three judges, and everybody`s a winner. Whether you`re an old pro at this obstacle stuff or this`ll be your first crack at it, I reckon you can learn a little something that`ll help you on Sunday. Kristy will be on hand to offer a tip or two. After the fun gather around the campfire for a Pot-Luck supper, a little story tellin`, and I hear Kristy even has a guitar player comin` to play a song or three.

If you`re thinkin` of rollin` in Sunday morning, don`t miss hot coffee and biscuits. The 4-H Youth are the designated Pot Rustlers for this event, and they`ll be servin grub at 8am. Ride briefing at 9, Ride out at 10:00. The course Kristy has mapped out shows off the beauty of Lily Glen as you ride along heavily wooded trails, out across the open fields and down along the lake shoreline.

The Pot Rustlers will dish out another round of groceries while the judges tally the score sheets and hand out all sorts of cool prizes and awards. There are fancy prizes too for Best Dressed Gal and Guy, and Best Groomed Horse – The 4-H Youth pick these winners. And there is a monogrammed cooler for the high score 4-H horse and rider team!

But wait, there`s more – THE FIRST 15 HORSE AND RIDER TEAMS TO REGISTER WILL BE ENTERED INTO A DRAWING TO WIN A FREE ONE HOUR LESSON WITH KRISTY ON TRAIL OBSTACLES! Wow! Maybe it`ll help the next time around!

For all the finer details of this most spectacular event call Kristy 541-292-0175, and get on board!

Gitty Up!
Dutch Henry
