Come join the Meadowview Farm
6 mile Competitive Trail Challenge in the
Beautiful Bluegrass Region of Central Kentucky.
We`ll be riding to support
The Garrard County 4-H Horse Program
and help feed rescue horses across our nation.
6 OBSTACLES
are scattered around the terrain
to show off you and your horses talents!
You can ride the gently rolling hills and expansive meadows,
meander among the trees and along the stream.
All at your own pace!
We invite you to come Friday night for
Cowboy Camping in the meadow.
Then we`ll go for a sunset ride where you can
be on the lookout for a trophy buck or
see a flock of the many turkeys that make the farm their home.
Perhaps a shy coyote will peek out from the acres of wild blackberries.
Back at the farm, a campfire will be roaring
and we`ll grill up some fresh PIZZA
while listening to the country guitar
of John Bowman.
Saturday morning we`ll have the coffee ready
so you can enjoy a yummy breakfast while we go over the obstacles and rules.
Then, off you go to enjoy your morning of riding and maneuvering the course.
Bring your appetite back to the Silo where extra-thick hand pressed,
grass-fed Angus burgers will be grilled to your liking.
When everyone is done, we`ll tally up your scores and
give away buckets full of gifts and prizes
that our generous Sponsors
have donated.
4-H Obstacle - Kids will judge and
award special prizes to the winners.
Adult and Junior Divisions
Saturday afternoon, you are invited to just hang out or go back out riding.
The Blackberries should be ripe, so bring a container and a long sleeved
shirt to go pick some of natures best berries.
Arrangements can be made to camp Saturday night, too.
