World Renowned Trail Ride Critic Dutch Henry`s Ride Proclamation for-
Mid State Riding Club CTC - Randolph, VT - 7-17-2010
Howdy Folks,
The Mid State Riding Club and the fine folks at Three Stallion Inn are inviting you to come and experience their hospitality and the lovely trails here while you take part in the area`s first American Competitive Trail Horse Association (ACTHA), Competitive Trail Challenge (CTC). This is a casual competition perfect for all levels of riders! If you trail ride…You can compete!
Come in on Friday night for the Pot-Luck Dinner, there is plenty of primitive camping in the meadow, or if you`d rather, you can take a room at the Inn, and a stall for your horse. Please call the Inn directly at 802-728-5575 or www.threestallioninn.com for rooms and stalls. There will be a continental breakfast at 8a.m. Saturday at the meadow followed by ride briefing at 9:00 – Ride out at 10:00.
Three Stallion Inn is located on the Green Mountain Stock Farm and in addition to the majestic legacy of the Morgan horse, Green Mountain boasts beautiful trails through old Maples still tapped each spring for their sweet syrup. The route mapped out for the CTC will take you along well shaded trails, across a few streams and even by an old historic sugar house. Enjoy the view, the challenges, your horse and your friends then gather for lunch while the judges tally the scores and hand out ACTHA BUCKS and Awards.
The Mid State Riding Club hopes you`ll come have a fun time trying something just a little different. After all, anytime you can get together with good friends and your horse, and ride at a place as lovely as Green Mountain Stock Farm, well by golly, I reckon that`s just a good deal!
Call Jyl Emerson at 802-522-2156 for more details, and plan on helping to make this ride a success, for the fun of it – and for the horses!
Gitty Up!
