World Renowned Trail Ride Critic Dutch Henry`s Ride Proclamation for-
Ultimate Equestrian CTC Adamstown MD 6-19-2010
Howdy Folks,
Judy and Tom Smith are hostin` an event at Loch Moy Farm that`s all about workin` with your horse to master a few challenges. Yes sir, they`re invitin` you to an American Competitive Trail Horse Association sanctioned CTC, complete with great trails, good food, fun visiting, and terrific winnings and prizes.
You can start the fun Friday if you`re traveling too far for a one day affair. Plenty of first- rate stabling for your horse and while there is no camping at Loch Moy Farm just email Judy at [email protected] for a list of motels and Bed & Breakfasts nearby. Ride briefing is Saturday at 9:00Am - Ride out at 9:45. Please call Loch Moy Farm to reserve stalls. - 301-514-0111.
The trail the Smiths have mapped out showcases the stunning beauty of Loch Moy Farm, from the exquisite Eventing Course to the miles of tranquil trails shaded by majestic old hardwoods along the banks of the Monocacy River. Along the way you`ll find six obstacles, you know so the Judges can judge! Make sure you smile nice for the shutter-snapper on the trail, and you can buy those photos to mount on the wall in your barn. After you spend a few hours enjoying the trail with your horse and friends meet back at camp for lunch, awards and prizes.
But there`s more! After the awards, if you`re lookin` for a few more challenges, take a shot at the post-ride obstacle competition in the large arena. More ridin`. More prizes. More fun!
So tell your friends, gather your gear and head out for Loch Moy Farm and have a great time! And sign up early – the first 15 rider and horse teams to register get their names tossed in a hat for a drawing to win a free evening at Ultimate Equestrian Obstacle Schooling session of June 10 at Loch Moy Farm (Just in time to get warmed up for next weekend) or a very nice horse halter.
And speakin` of lessons, the Smiths are hostin` obstacle training sessions at Loch Moy 4/29, 5/13, 5/27 & 6/10 - so you might want to saddle up for that too! Email them at [email protected] for details.
Gitty Up!
Dutch Henry
