World Renowned Trail Ride Critic Dutch Henry`s Ride Proclamation for-

Soldier Mountain CTC - Fairfield ID - 7-24-2010

Howdy Folks,

Jil Schmidt and her hard workin` team of volunteers are sendind` out a call to invite you to Soldier Mountain for a high time of ridin`, eatin`, vistin`, and winnin` prizes! And by golly she means a high time! You`ll be ridin` trails with stunning views of Sawtooth & Pioneer mountain ranges while you and your horse negotiate a few obstacles – You know to win those ACTHA prizes and stuff – and you`ll do it at 6,000 feet! I reckon that`s a high time!

The excitement kicks off Friday night for those who`d like to take part in the Get-To-Know-Ya "bonfire". There`s plenty of room for primitive camping, and it`s always fun to swap ideas and secrets on just how to negotiate the obstacle to get the highest scores!

After the ride, tend you horse then gather with your friends for a Pot-Luck lunch. Head Biscuit Burner Jil will supply her super secret BBQ. You guys bring desserts and sides. While the Judges tally the scores and award prizes and winnin`s watch a surprise Doggie Competition Demonstration.

No need to pull up stakes Saturday, hang around and ride on your own Sunday. Or spend a few days takin` in all the sites and activities in the area. Jil says for those interested she`ll have a package full of things to see and do. She says there are tons of trails in the area.

So brush your horse, load your rig and call all your friends then make tracks for Soldier Mountain Ski Resort and have a high time!
