World Renowned Trail Ride Critic Dutch Henry`s Ride Proclamation for-
Whispering Pines River Loop CTC - Jadwin MO - 7-31-2010 & 8-1-2010
Howdy Folks,
Casey and the gang at Whispering Pines Campground are tossin` out an invite to everybody for a weekend of fun, ridin` music and a bit of a Challenge too! They`re about to host two American Competitive Trail Horse Association - CTCs, back to back – Saturday and Sunday – Two times the fun, points and winning`s at one time!
You`re invited to roll in Friday night and visit with friends and plan your strategies for masterin` those ACTHA obstacles in the morning. Both days start with breakfast at 8AM – Ride briefing at 9AM – Ride out at 10:00. – They`ve mapped out two very different trails and both routes are in the shade along the river trail, with a few river and creek crossings mixed in. Some of the trail follows the Ozark National Scenic Riverways.
Things really get hoppin` Saturday night in the Pavilion with a DJ so you can practice your cloggin`. They`ll be roastin` a hog too! Be sure to give ol` Jimmy, the head grub slinger a hat tip so he`ll fix your biscuits just right! They`ve got all sorts of prizes and awards ready to hand out, too! Be sure to wear your best ridin` duds because there are special prizes for Best Dressed Gal and Guy. Take good care brushin` your horse, so you have a crack at Best Groomed Horse.
So tell your friends, gather your gear and load your rig and lay a path for Whispering Pines Campgrounds to spend a great weekend ridin`, winnin`, eatin` and dancin`! Call Casey Hemken at 573-729-7591 for all the finer details. Email [email protected] .
