BUMBLE BEE RANCH CTC
TO BENEFIT ARIZONA EQUINE RESCUE
The Town of Bumble Bee was originally founded in 1863 as part of the main route between Phoenix and Flagstaff. It was a stage stop along the three day trip between the two cities. You will travel through the Bumble Bee Creek lined with tall cottonwood trees. Then up into the foothills of the beautiful and historical Bradshaw Mountains. Bumble Bee, Cleator, Crown King and the Bradshaw Mountains are a colorful part of Arizona`s mining history. Along the way you will be in the upper Sonoran Desert riding through saguaro, palo verde and mesquite while enjoying some of the best views in Arizona. The terrain is varied, there are hills, ravines, canyons, washes and rocky places, shoes or boots are suggested. The road from I-17 to the ranch is approximately 3 miles and is well maintained dirt. This is a weekend event starting on Friday and lasting till Sunday. The ranch has plenty of room for camping. Before or after the CTC you can take a short trip to Cleator an old mining town. To find out more about the Ranch and see photos of the area go to www.bumblebeeranch.com.
