Come with us in the foothills surrounding beautiful Lake Powell, Utah/Arizona in some of the most beautiful scenic country with our front door facing Beautiful Lake Powell and our back door opens up to the Escalante Grande Staircase. There are endless riding trails through sage up into the foothills with cedar trees and pinion pines. You will have some of the most magnificent high desert riding with plenty of opportunity for outstanding photos. Our ride will use approximately 8 miles of trails as we meander through sandstone hills with spectacular high views of Lake Powell, Navajo Mountain and the Kaiparowits Plateau. The terrian is varied, there are hills, ravines, canyons, washes, and rocky places; shoes or boots are suggested. The ride will stage from The Cowboy In (not a typo) Motel / Lake Powell Fairgrounds. This is a weekend event starting on Friday and lasting until Sunday. The Lake Powell Fairgrounds has plenty of room for camping and The Cowboy In Motel has approximately 40 rooms available.
