Halloween Spooktacular Weekend!

Come Ride With Us!  1,300 acres of pristine Texas country.  Scenic views of the area and relaxing trails combine to bring out the pioneer spirit in everyone!

We are offering a fun Halloween weekend getaway for the whole family.

  

The ACTHA ride will begin Saturday morning but feel free to come Friday evening and get yourself situated.  We have primitive camping available.  Non-riders are welcome to join in the halloween festivities too!  Come in costume -- dress up your dog, your horse, whatever!  Our Haunted hay-ride Saturday evening will be fun for everyone.  Riders who stay through Sunday will be treated to a marvelous, meandering morning ride.

We can`t wait to see you!  In costume or not -- Come for the Fun!

Check-in Friday (after 4:00pm) or Sat morning
Breakfast: 8:00am
Rider`s briefing: 9:00am
Ride out: 10:00am - 11:00am
Trail will take about 2 - 2 1/2 hours, 6-7 miles
Lunch following the ride

Photographer will be at the ride to take everyone`s pictures on trail. You can purchase pictures and a DVD of the weekend festivities.  Info will be supplied at  the ride.

Entries limited to first 100.
$525 in cash awards & great prizes for 1st - 6th place.
Open, pleasure, junior, and buddy divisions. See the FAQ page for questions regarding the divisions.

Fees payable online:
CTC entry fee - $53 pleasure/$78 open/$43 junior/$40 Adult buddy/$35 junior buddy
New membership fee - $25 individual $40 family of 2

Fees collected at check-in: meals, electrical hook ups and stall fees.
$5 breakfast and $6 lunch or $10 for both.  A catfish cookout is scheduled for dinner at $8.00
Electrical Hook Up: $15.00/day  -  Primitive Camping $5.00/night

Non-riders:  $5.00 to participate in Haunted Halloween activities.


Additional contests will be:
Best Dog ($5 at check-in)
Best dressed male/female
Best groomed horse

Costume Contests for People, Horses and Dogs (ribbons awarded)
