take Rte. 666, Kelletville, PA, nestled in the beautiful rolling mountains of the Allegheny National Forest.  Thousands of acres of trails of moderate nature offer wooded terrain, some rocky and steep, with creeks and river crossings, gently rolling meadows, and mountain top vistas.  Shoes are not ncessary, though may bdesirable for the tenderfooted.   Camping and stalls available by contacting the Flying W Ranch at 814-463-7663.

 This is a “Casual Competition”, not a race or timed event. The trail can be completed liesurely with plenty of time to smell the roses and visit with friends.

And remember up to 50% of ACTHA proceeds go to Horse Charities in your state. Heaven knows they need the help!

CTC sanctioned by ACTHA and as seen on the cover of Trial Blazer, RFDTV`s The horse Show with Rick Lamb and virtually every trail riding outlet known to man! It`s new, its fun and it does wonderful things for horses and you!

Agenda:
Check-in Friday evening or Saturday morning
Breakfast on your own
Rider`s briefing: 9:00 am
Ride out: 10:00am - 11:00am
Trail will take about 2 - 2 1/2 hours, 6-7 miles
Lunch following the ride for purchase in the Flying W Restaurant (moderately priced sandwiches and salads available)
Awards following lunch:  3:00 p.m.

Special event following the CTC:  Dave McClelland, Trainer (2007 Extreme Mustang Makeover & 2008 Midwest Mustang Challenge) will provide a presentation on natural horsemanship and relationship building with your horse with his mustangs.  (www.clearviewranch.net).  Be sure to stay for the weekend and hit the trail with Dave on Sunday.

Entries limited to first 100.
$525 in cash awards & great prizes for 1st - 6th place. (Cash awards paid only if quota is reached for the ride)
Open, pleasure, junior, and buddy divisions. See the FAQ page for questions regarding the divisions.

Fees payable online:
CTC entry fee - $53 pleasure/$78 open/$43 junior/$40 Adult buddy/$35 junior buddy
New membership fee - $25 individual $40 family of 2

Fees collected in the Flying W Ranch office at check-in for camping and stalls
Camping:  $25/night  (with electric and water); Primitive available (Bath house & hot showers)
Stalls: $15/horse/night tie-stall; $20/horse/night box stall
