Come join us for our first ACTHA CTC. The ride is on a 25,000 acre working cattle ranch with beautiful views, an abundance of natural wildlife, and possible sightings of exotic animals. The Double Mountains are visible from ride camp. From the trail you will have views of and be riding in the Double Mountain Fork of the Brazos River.

This is a “Casual Competition”, not a race or timed event. The trail can be completed liesurely with plenty of time to smell the roses and visit with friends.

And remember up to 50% of ACTHA proceeds go to Horse Charities in your state. Heaven knows they need the help!

ALL RIDERS, BOTH PLEASURE AND OPEN ARE ELLIGBLE FOR THE $25,000 IN YEAR END REGIONAL AND NATIONAL RIDER AWARDS!

CTC sanctioned by ACTHA and as seen on the cover of Trial Blazer, RFDTV's The horse Show with Rick Lamb and virtually every trail riding outlet known to man! It's new, its fun and it does wonderful things for horses and you!

In addition to the CTC on Saturday morning you will have an opportunity to join us for an additional West Texas experience including meals at the chuckwagon, gathering around the fire at night, music, dancing and guided trail rides. An arena with obstacles will be set up for your use.

Camping permitted. Horse water available, bring all drinking water.

Check-in Friday evening or Saturday morning. If you plan to arrive after 10:00p.m. please make arrangements via [email protected]. A current negative Coggins is required on all horses.
Breakfast: 8:00am
Rider's briefing: 9:00am
Ride out: 10:00am - 11:00am
Trail will take about 2 1/2 - 3 hours, 8-10 miles.

Photographer will be at the ride to take everyone's pictures on trail. You can purchase pictures

Entries limited to first 100.
$525 in cash awards & great prizes for 1st - 6th place.
Open, pleasure, junior, and buddy divisions. See the FAQ page for questions regarding the divisions.

Fees payable online:
CTC entry fee - $53 pleasure/$78 open/$43 junior/$40 Adult buddy/$35 junior buddy
New membership fee - $25 individual $40 family of 2

Fees collected at check-in: meals, additional ativities:

Friday supper $10.00, Saturday breakfast $5.00 and lunch $7.00.

Ride camp is located 14 miles north of Rotan, Texas on State Highway 70

Registration for this ride will close September 30th.

Saturday 4:00 p.m. Guided trail ride 6 -10 miles. 8:00 p.m.Chuckwagon supper, campfire, music

Adults $50.00 Youth 15 & under $30.00

Sunday 8:00 a.m. Chuckwagon breakfast, followed by 6-10 mile guided trail ride. Lunch to follow ride. Break camp after lunch.

Adults $40.00 Youth 15 & under $30.00

Each trail ride will be on a different trail.
