Charles Hanson Ranch
Concordia, KS
The Hanson Ranch encompasses over 800+ acres of beautiful rolling hills of Kansas. There will be beautiful shaded areas encompassed by several different varieties of trees, shallow water crossings, possible sightings of deer, turkey, and the occasional cow-calf pair. This will be the first ACTHA ride in Kansas. We hope to make it a ride you will put on your calendar for each year to come. You will have two choices of campsites. You can stay on site at the ranch with primitive campsites or you can stay 10 miles north of the ranch at the NCK Saddle Club arena with electrical hookups. Approximately 30 hookups. Stalls available if preregistered otherwise will need to tie to trailer.
Remember up to 50% of ACTHA`s proceeds go to Horse Charities. The $$ made in Kansas stays in Kansas and heaven knows some of our rescues can use the help! Another ride will be announced soon in Emporia and at many other locations within striking distance of Concordia so we all will have a shot at riding for the $25,000 in year end rider prizes.
There will be great prizes at the ride so c`mon out and have some real fun in this "Casual Competition"...it`s not a timed event and with 8 fun obstacles you`ll have plenty of time to smell the roses and chat with friends!
