South Centeral TN/Katlyn CTC (11-07-2009)

11-07-2009

1055 Vinta Mill RD
Prospect, TN

Come on, to the South Central Tennessee/KatLyn CTC, where the farm is beautiful with rolling hills, a ravine or two, creeks, woods and open hay fields; deer, turkeys and other wildlife rome freely (the occasional natural obsticle). We are just 6 miles north of the Tennessee/Alabama border, off I-65, exit #1. The footing is mixed with some gravel and enough rocks to make it interesting, shoes or boots recommended. A ferrier will be available Saturday or by appointment earlier.

This is a farm; no electric/water hook ups, stalls or paddocks, so bring your picket lines, or other portable containment corrals, dog leashes and  a sense of humor. Water for man or beast is available along with a Port-O-Let or two.

After the ride, entertainment will be provided by some members of CMSA (Cowboy Mounted Shooting). Their horses carry them on the trail, then run through a obsticle course while the riders shoot ballons, truely versital horses.

This is a “Casual Competition”, not a race or timed event. The trail can be completed liesurely with plenty of time to smell the roses and visit with friends.

And remember up to 50% of ACTHA proceeds go to Horse Charities in your state. Heaven knows they need the help!
