Conveniently located off Interstate 20, between Dallas and Shreveport, Texas Rose Horse Park has gentle rolling sandy hills, so need for shoes.  With 1700 acres of private grounds, competitors and horses alike are instantly transported to a serene world.  Both riders and their horses will feel a sense of relief as they travel past the 17 acre lake and on into the rich landscape studded with facilities designed to offer comfort, convenience and the best in technology.  Texas Rose Horse Park is a beautiful and fun place to ride. TRHP has 300 stalls available and 45 RV hook-ups available. Your online registration reserves your stall or RV hook-up.

Check-in Friday evening after 2 pm until 7 pm or Sat morning starting at 7 am
Breakfast: 8:30am
Rider`s briefing: 9:00am
Ride out: 10:00am - 11:00am
Trail will take about 2 - 2 1/2 hours, and cover 6-7 miles

Awards to follow, after completion of ride.

Breakfast menu will be complementary coffee, juice and doughnuts.  Concessions on site for lunch.


Photographer will be at the ride to take everyone`s pictures on trail.

Entries limited to first 100.
$525 in cash awards & great prizes for 1st - 6th place.
Open, pleasure, junior, and buddy divisions. See the FAQ page for questions regarding the divisions.

Fees payable online:
CTC entry fee - $53 pleasure/$78 open/$43 junior/$40 Adult buddy/$35 junior buddy
New membership fee - $25 individual $40 family of 2

Fees collected at check-in: electrical hook ups and stall fees.
Electrical Hook Up: $25.00/day
Stalls: $15/horse/night, includes 1 bag of shavings, additional shavings may be purchase on site at $9.00 per bag.

Additional contests will be:
Best dressed male/female
Best groomed horse

 

From Shreveport area - Take I-20 West to the Van Highway 110 exit (#548), turn left (South).  Go approximately 1 mile, facility is on left.  From Dallas area - Take I-20 East to the Van Highway 110 exit (#548), turn right (South).  Go approximately 1 mile, facility is on left.
