The Headwaters of Terrace Reservoir on the Alamosa River where primitive camping will be allowed along the river in the cottonwoods.  You may picket-line or set up a portable stall for your horse. 

Spectacular trail will take you back behind the reservoir into mountainous blue spruce timber country. Portions of the trail are rocky;  shoes are highly recommended.

Bring your cameras.  There is not a better time of year to capture the fall beauty of the San Juan Mountains!

ACTHA`s Founder Carrie Scrima will be on hand for the fun and festivities!

Tom and Carrie will be happy to host our Texas friends who come up for the ride with a second day of riding in the Great Sand Dunes National Park...Y'ALL COME!!

 

 



Check-in Friday evening or Sat morning
Breakfast: 8:00am
Rider`s briefing: 9:00am
Ride out: 10:00am - 11:00am
Trail will take about 2 - 2 1/2 hours, 6-7 miles
Lunch following the ride
Awards following lunch



Photographer will be at the ride to take everyone`s pictures on trail. You can purchase pictures...

Entries limited to first 100.
$525 in cash awards & great prizes for 1st - 6th place.
Open, pleasure, junior, and buddy divisions. See the FAQ page for questions regarding the divisions.

Fees payable online:
CTC entry fee - $53 pleasure/$78 open/$43 junior/$40 Adult buddy/$35 junior buddy
New membership fee - $25 individual $40 family of 2

Fees collected at check-in: meals, electrical hook ups and stall fees.

Stalls: You must make separate reservations.
