THIRD TIMES A CHARM!!!

Come and ride through trails that weave through mountains, forests and time itself! Imagine riding the same paths graced by the Vanderbilts and their guests – riding wide and well-marked trails to the banks of the French Broad River, gliding through pristine forests, or galloping over green pastures. All these and more are yours to explore when you bring your horse to Biltmore. Our 8,000 acres of land feature five different 10-30 mile loops; several trails include optional jumps and are suitable for carriages.

Come, be part of our ACTHA earlier ride Oct 17 & 18 and ride these beautiful trails and help support Herds of Hooves.

There is primitive camping available and generators are permitted. Water is available along with a porta-potty. There are 6 stalls and 6 outdoor pens with up to 14 paddocks that are available guest rental. The outdoor paddocks can accommodate up to 3 horses. Costs for the stalls/pens and paddocks are as follows:

Stalls: $30/night

Paddocks: $25/horse/night (most can hold up to 3 horses, if you wish to turn your horses out together)

Pens: $20/night (these are 12’x12’ “outside stalls” with no shelter above)

Call to reserve you stall: 828-225-1454

Additional cost are as follows:

Trail fee is $30 per day

Camping is included in this fee for Friday and Saturday night. If you would like to stay additional nights, the cost is $20/person/night.

Remember, you must call the equestrian center to reserve your spot, 828-225-1454

Biltmore Estate is a large private estate and tourist attraction in Asheville, North Carolina. Biltmore House, the main house on the estate, is a Châteauesque-styled mansion built by George Washington Vanderbilt II between 1889 and 1895 and is the largest privately owned house in the United States, at 178,926 square feet (16,622.8 m2)[2] of floor space (135,280 square feet (12,568 m2) of living area) and featuring 250 rooms. Still owned by one of Vanderbilt's descendants, it stands today as one of the most prominent remaining examples of the Gilded Age, and of significant gardens in the jardin à la française and English Landscape garden styles in the United States. In 2007, it was ranked eighth in America's Favorite Architecture by the American Institute of Architects.

Bethematch.org will be present for a Saturday to take swabs and to give out additional information about how to be a donor. Please feel free to stop by to ask any question you might have.

Here Ye Here Ye!
