How Points Are Calculated
Ride points will be calculated by placement in a CTC in the following manner:
-
7 points for placing 1st
-
6 points for placing 2nd
-
5 points for placing 3rd
-
4 points for placing 4th
-
3 points for placing 5th
-
2 points for placing 6th
-
1 point for coming to the ride (no DQ)
Additional Requirements:
-
Points will be calculated for the state where the ride is held. Ride wherever you like, points will be calculated according to the horse & rider as a team along with the division.
-
If you switch horse or division, your future points will be calculated with the new horse or division. In this case, you will be listed with points from all horses and divisions.
-
Remember, if you place in the open division, you cannot move down to the pleasure division on that same horse.
-
Theoretically you can have points in multiple states on multiple horses.
-
Each horse & rider team can only win in one state for State Awards
-
The state must have a minimum of 5 rides to qualify.
-
Ride wherever you like, all points will accumulate with the horse & rider team for that division.
-
The 2011-2012 season runs from June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2012.
