ACTHA FEES

 

ACTHA yearly membership registers your horse and keeps track of all points earned by your horse and for the horse & rider team. Your membership is good for 1 year from the date that you join. Annual membership will automatically renew once a year on your anniversary date unless you turn the auto-renew option off in your account. Annual Memberships have a money back guarantee if requested within 1 week of the first ride. Lifetime membership fees are non-refundable.

 

Annual Memberships:
Individual ($35) - registers 1 horse, 1 rider
Family of 2 ($50) - registers 2 horses, 2 riders
Family of 4 ($85) -  registers 4 horses, 4 riders
Additional horse - $10
Additional rider - $10
 
Lifetime memberships:
Individual ($380) - registers 1 horse, 1 rider, (comes with 1 belt buckle)
Family of 2 ($600) - registers 2 horses, 2 riders, (comes with 2 belt buckles)
Family of 4 ($880) - registers 4 horses, 4 riders, (comes with 2 belt buckles)
Additional horse - $80
Additional rider - $80

Late registration fee - $20 collected at check-in if you sign up after registration is closed.
 
 
Possible additional fees at check-in:
If an affiliate has to rent a ranch or park, there may be additional fees like the following.  Check the ride description for information regarding additional fees.
Daily riding fee - usually $10-$20
Electrical hook-up - usually $10-$15
Primitive camping (no hook-up) - usually $10-$15
Lodging - varies
Stall rental - usually $5 - $15
Paddock rental - usually $5 - $15
Food - usually $10 - $20

 

Cancellation fees:

If a ride is cancelled, any riders signed up for that ride will be issued full online credit.  A rider may request a refund to their credit card by contacting ACTHA Customer Support.

If a rider needs to cancel their registration to a ride for any reason:

  • Full online credit will be issued when the rider removes themselves from the ride before 1 week of the ride date (or by contacting Customer Support).  This option is available in the member's online account.
  • If it is one week before the ride date, the rider will need to contact the affiliate.  It is the affiliate's discretion to remove the rider up to 1 week before the ride date.  If the rider is removed, full online credit is issued to the rider.  If the rider would rather have a credit card refund, the affiliate will need to contact Customer Support to do this.  There is a $5 processing fee with this refund.

 
The membership fees are payable once you join the association.  CTC entry fees are payable online when you sign up for a ride.  All additional ranch/park fees are paid at check-in.
